How to become a new member
The ECSR welcomes new members. An ECSR Membership is not individual, but institutional. Institutions that would like to become member of the ECSR are requested to contact the Secretary Dana Hamplová at: ecsr@ecsrnet.eu.
The membership fee is 350 Euro per year. For members from former socialist countries, the yearly membership fee is 100 Euro per year.
How to re-enter ECSR after the change of legal status
ECSR was originally established as an informal network of academic institutions without any legal status. 0n July 6th, 2022, the Council approved the motion to transform ECSR from an informal network into a legal entity and accepted the offer from WZB – Berlin Social Science Center to host the association. In September 2023, the legal association European Consortium for Sociological Research was established under the German association law.
Currently, all ongoing ECSR activities are being transferred to this newly established association. To continue with the ECSR membership, members of the informal network need to join the association. For further information, please contact ECSR secretary at ecsr@ecsrnet.eu.
